There are scammers on here from Russia that you need to be aware of. Here are clues to if they are a scammer.
1. The message the scammer will send you is this: "Hi. I am moving into your area and would like a friend there...." Something to that extent.
2. Check that person to see if there is a picture and profile info. If there is not, then this IS a scammer.
3. If you do give them some info about you like an email address they will send you an email later (because the scammer is scamming more victums at the time) they will say "Hi! Thank's a lot for your answer! I could not answer you earlier. I did not see your letter. It has been placed in spam folder. I do not know why it happens. Probably it is a mistake of a server. I will disconnect spam filter." Be on the look out for that.

There are TWO countries that do scamming a lot. They are Russia and Ghana. In the end they will try to get you to send money for a plane ticket that they look up on websites to see the price. They are pretty elaborate and try to get in your head. If you stop it at number 1 then you can report them here. NEVER NEVER NEVER send money to anyone unless you have SEEN them in real life and know them.

Because if the woman shows enough cleavage a guy will do anything they want them to.

i have a few stalkers but no real scammers (yet). I have a rule. If i dont know them and they want me to add them.. i hit decline. If they come off with "your hot" or "Can we meet?" after less then 1 conversation (in actuality probably less then 3 months talking) I ignore them. If they ask me to send them anything - ANYTHING i ban them.

NOt only that. There are scammers with picture and profile here on Mingle 2. They will talk to you and try to get you see them on camera, but on a different website. Block them off immediately.

hey newbies ... another angle on this scam ...

(something similar occured long ago on a site far away)

I didn`t catch on at first, it seemed too good to be true. She`ll say she was chatting with you recently. She(might be a "him" or "them" ..eww) Anyway the scammer(s) actually said there was too much junk mail in the "old account" (The account you allegedly added recently) .. but no mention of said "old account" is made. With the added distraction of an attractive female(allegedly sending these messages & attaching eye pleasing pictures), one might overlook (not) meeting such an individual upon recent, & haphazardly assume it was an old flirt that was "almost forgotten" .. anyway you might not remember flirting with the scammer recently but go along like i did. TGTBT.. (too good to be true) remember that ... Love hurts ... you gotta fight to get the woman you "really" want ... anyway this "scammer" might even have pictures, send you 2 a day talking about daily life & by the 3rd message or so you might be reading that she went to a nude beach with her friend & hopefully the pictures aren`t offensive this message... & you might see some t!tt!es ... that`s when i was asked for money .. (This was another site but same deal) .. if people wanna pay to get someone into the country to be with there`s other sites for that ... don`t fall for scams like this ... we didn`t ... well i didn`t ,,, the other guy might have ... lol jk ...

so in conclusion it might seem nice ... but too good to be true ... probably isn`t ...

take it easy ,., catch ya on the flipside .,.

p.s. if you EVER suspect you`re falling for a messaging scam ... change the subject ... spambot`s don`t even know what color the sky is, or have hobbies... other than gettin your gold.

another other way to know it`s an email scam ... like hotmail email ... if the text & the pictures that you look at & read are an attached picture .. yeah .. hopefully nobody is desparate or dumb enough to fall for that ...

This is a friendly reminder to all that anytime you feel that you have in fact been contacted by a scammer the site request that you in fact use the abuse report features that are in place within the site.

If you look to the right when you pull up a members profile you will see report this user click on that and it will take you to a screen in order to choose the reasons you are in fact reporting them and to add any extra you would like to. This in fact goes straight to the Admin which they will look into the issue. If in fact they determine they are here for such reasons their profiles will be banned and deactivated.

There is also within your e-mail if they in fact e-mail you that you can scroll down to the bottom of your e-mail and you will find a link that says report this e-mail user which that will go straight to Admin as well.

This site does not allow scammers and will in fact deal with them as soon as they are made aware of the issue.

But unless members report such actions then it is harder for some of them to be detected. Therefore we do ask that you take the correct procedures that are before you within the system in order for the site Admin to keep this site as free from scammers as possible.

The site would prefer that each member utilizes the system in place in order to deal with those issues.

With that said this topic is being locked for according to the site rules issues of this nature should not be posted on the threads but instead should be directed to Admin or a Mod in order for them to pass on the information.

Thank You
Site Mod
