Yes, why would you cheat and lie about it? I’ve actually never had a reason to do that. What I have done over the course of several relationships is make it very clear that if either one of us should feel the need to move on or that we would be happier with another person, simply get out of the relationship before anything physical occurs. Surprisingly that has worked out for me. |

It's simple women lie on purpose, men are forced to lies. Women, you don't look that good when you wake up. You put on that morning makeup, jazz up that hair and BLAMO - one hot chick. Also one gigantic lie. The first of many, like "I'm only getting one thing (in that store)." "I'll be ready in five minutes." "I invited my mother over, I know how you enjoy spending time with her." "You'll have more fun at the ballet than sitting here watching football." Men, well we are forced to lie, we never really want to. For example - When asked "how do I look in this?" That's forcing a lie. Or "where were you?" Forces a lie. "Did you like the meal I cooked?" Forced lie. Think about it. Your man would never speak, except when you force a lie from him. So, while men lie, we don't really want to, it's forced upon us. Women, well I think you all enjoy lying just a little.

Equal on both sides, but it puzzels me why anyone would ever lie to anyone. There's nothing to be gained by lieing, ever. Even if noone ever finds out the truth, you have to live with that lie forever, and thats not living. You have to love yourself before you can love anyone else, and everyone make mistakes, so don't lie, ever, and don't sweat the small stuff. I will not lie to anyone, and thats probably why im single, but thats ok, I wouldn't want to be with anyone under false pretences anyway. Dennis

I say it evens out between man and a woman. It also has to do with a person personality or how the person was raised. I'll say that everyone does white lies as well, who doesn't.

We ALL lie to some degree or another. As sungod has touched on, a person's personality pretty much decides WHEN they lie and what they will lie about. |
