I still have a crush on a girl that was in my 2nd grade class. If I could find her again after all these years just to see how she's doing. I have a couple more but thats the longest.

I have a couple more but thats the longest. thats funny. i had a crush on a kid in 1st grade. and we went one yr to klamath falls when i was about 12-13yrs old and across from the resturant was his dads work and he happen to be there so we went over and talked to him for a few and that was the last time. i tracked him down over the years but i never did try and send him a letter, i did call and left a message but i think hes married now |

Seriously, i have a hard time crushing on anyone online. Im a romantic but distance has never worked for me. In real life? A year or so. Then I had to press harassement charges on her LOL |

15yrs and still do but she is married now to a good guy so would never say anything.

20 years and still going strong. life has seemingly plotted against us. i wrote this for her:
obsession you are my drug, my addiction we thrive on our friction we stay apart longer but the pull gets stronger things elsewhere are fine but you're still on my mind our history goes back those days at the track 20 years since those days have passed, i'm amazed that the sound of your voice leaves me no choice i'll have to give in and we'll lose and we'll win so intense the attraction with no time for action so the moment we're free and it's just you and me the animals rise one look in those eyes my heart just explodes my resistance erodes some call it at crush or love at first blush but there is no question you are my obsession |

20 years and one month. High school sweetheart. Senior year she cheated on me with my best freind. She got pregnant. Shotgun wedding after graduation. Married for about 10 years then divorced. Then raked him through the coals. Alimony and child support. He also paid to put her through college till degreed. Then she dated different guys over a few years and finally found a guy she's happy with. Over the years freinds and relatives tried to hook us up to no avail. 20 years and one month later I ran into her and we talked. It was a beautiful june day. I was looking all cool on my harley- just a great day. We met just before a parade on a city street. We talked about what wed been doing the last 20 years. And I realized 2 things. First I realized the crush was absolutely gone. I felt nothing for this person. The amazing cordial romantic things I did for her when I was young (like save up money from working on the farm when I was 13 and buy her roses and riding my bicycle 20 miles to her house to give them to her) were passing mute issues. The love letters from her and I as teenagers were nothing. Just a fleeting moment of emotions in youth. I felt absolutely nothing. I got closure on a crush. Was I disappointed? No, I was actually relieved at the closure. It took the confusion of the "maybe's" out of my conciousness. And the last thing I realized was that if I had been with this person over the last 20 years I would have been absolutely miserable. She changed into a person I wouldn't want to be with or tolerate. Constantly critical complainer. Whew! I got lucky and dodged that bullet!

What's the longest crush you've ever had on a person? 5 years going on 6 and still going strong! He was here Saturday night in fact. Now, If only I could get the ex g/f out of his life, things would be darned near perfect! ( I'm thinking cinder blocks and the Mississippi River ) Just kidding! Or am I? She stalks him until he ends up taking her back...Ugh, I know, not a healthy thing for me. Hopefully after this "last time" he'll realize she just isn't worth his face being scared up over or him going to jail for. She broke into his place and jumped him while he was sleeping this past Tuesday night, digging up his face because she was jealous him and I are friends again. Ugh, jealous women!!! He couldn't face me til his face had healed some. |
