Topic: It's cold out

Today, in Omaha, it is -4 degrees but feels -25 with wind chill. I'm wearing 4 layers of clothes. Maybe a trip to the equator would be good?

Those kind of cold days were made for staying in and staying cozy in layers of covers and some good old movies. The ones that never go out of style. Here's to staying warm.

its not that cold here but cold enough. dang its different feeling of cold between my parents place in the country/burbs then it is here in the city. i feel like i had to learn to drive all over again.

Here in Denver, I heard it got down to -30 during the nite. Yeah it's pretty cold in the Midwest. And remember that car batteries don't like it that cold so take it easy on starting your car. Some people forget that and can lead to more issues.

It's actually starting to warm up here in southwest WI. Heatwave of 7 above! Windchills of -32 though. I just got back from doctors. Made me sick to my stomach seeing some of the little kids over there with skin not covered up, coming in from the cold! Grrr put a blanket of the little ones, it won't take long for frostbite to set in with this kind of cold.

My paternal family lives in Fairbanks and North Pole... My 17 y/o daughter just came in from school for lunch, "It's -165 out there!!" Whatttt a drama queen!!

My car kinda wanted to argue with me a little bit this morning, too. She fired over not too badly, but she wasn't real happy about it. I guess I can't blame her. I wouldn't want to sit outside all night in that cold either.
