I should be ashamed of what? Being Jewish or the fact that Israel finally said, "Enough is enough"?

Israel has sat back and let the people in Gaza launch rocket after rocket into Israel and just waited for America to either help or give them permission to fight back. Israel has mainly taken the high road. But how many Israeli mothers and children have to be killed before they can fight back?

The reason I am ashamed is because they did not fight as they USUALLY DO, which is when the women and children are tucked away. NORMALLY they strike when they are safe and only target Hamas. But Hamas doesn't care when THEY strike, they just kill whomever is around. They don't care. They even use their own CHILDREN as weapons.

So don't even tell me I am supposed to be ashamed. I am not. They are finally letting the world know that they are not going to let more of their people die needless deaths while they sit and wait for the world to say, "OK, enough people have died, you can fight back now."

I am just ashamed that they did it on a High Holy Day and on Shabbat. That is all.


But that is a political matter. And I am SO not going to dumb myself down to explain it to you.
