Morning everyone.....
OK TODAY'S SUBJECT..... CHRISTMAS HOLIDAYS TRADITIONS IN YOUR FAMILY..... One that we always did and I carried over to my girls is making old fashioned Christmas Cookies...It takes about 5 days to do them all but oh what fun to paint and just bond.... Now another I do with my girls...is that I have 100 years old sleigh bells on the front door...and until the girls hear them they can't come out...this is so santa mom can get a cup of coffee before present are opened... |

Hey weren't you supposed to be wrapping presents? lmao I have so many traditions I couldn't possibly list them all here. The cut-out Christmas cookies are one. Leaving a book for each child under the tree, to be opened on Christmas Eve is another. We sing Happy Birthday to Jesus on Christmas morning. We've seen Trans-Siberian Orchestra in concert to kick off the Christmas season .. every single year for the past 7 years ... We light Advent candles every Sunday for the 4 before the week of Christmas ... just a few ......... ps .. love ya Deb

My xmas spirit has dwindled considerably over the years. I want it back. But i am starting a whole new life....sort of. If you know what I mean.
We, as kids, used to do the walk through acres and acres of woods in search of our family xmas tree. Yeah! just like you would see in a movie!!My x did not like real trees so the scent of pine has been absent for way too long!! |

Our Christmas tradition...get the hell out of my parents place as soon as possible...(About 10 minutes after eating or doing the unwanted gift exchange.)
Then my sis and bro-in-law skip out soon after to rendezvous at my place for shots of Crown and getting lit. I don't mind doing the obligatory Christmas for my Sister's ugly baby...but, as an adult none of my family has any real interest in the gaudy decorations, crappy music or giving and recieving sh*t that none of us actually need. |
