Like what brings me the greatest joy??
When I see a child smile or hear a childs laugh. The pure innocence is so refreshing and helps me remember that there is some good in the world. |

What was the most joyous moment in your life to this point? Let's rule out the birth of a child, cuz that really is a given here.

Most joyous moment...
I was on this religious retreat in High School that my family thought would help me since I was at a difficult point in my life cause my grandmother had just passed. She was my world I was very very close to her and I was taking it really hard.... Well at the end of the weekend we had a huge prayer circle then we went back to our rooms and sitting on our beds were letters and gifts from all of our friends and family... The letters and pictures just helped me realize how important and loved I was.... I still have all of them in a box and read them when I'm feeling down. |

I think that my most joyous moment was a random act of kindness that I remember as if it was this morning. I even put it in my profile.

im bending the question a little, but a joyous moment for me would be is when i am caught off guard by a woman, she holds me close to her, and she whispers into my ear "no more pain, i'll take care of you" or something similar

I remember once something that happen to me right after 9 11....We had a man from the middle east that I would always see at the market...He wore the turbin and a very proud man indeed....always held his head high. Well I went to the market after 9-11 and he was walking with his head down...I could feel he just felt not wanted and people were looking at him not the same......(crying) I went up to him and put my finger under his chin and raised it...and told him...You walk proud do you hear me......a single tear I wiped from his face.....

All too often, these threads are joking and flirting and lots of false statements. It is a good thing that there are times when truth defeats the falseness that is portrayed. Just my opinion.
