Thanks Goof!

At least I know that there might be one guy out there that when I get him he might not run ohwell

Well, just avoid "that" guy who "falls in love" with every girl he dates, has been married and divorced over 5 times. That guy is dangerous too.laugh laugh

That partially describes my son's father... so I know all about that one!

I'll put this out their too. I feel, especially in this day and age, that men are intimidated by women. I mean, now women are leading Fortune 500 companies, and are no longer just sitting at home and taking care of the house while the man works to bring home the bacon. Now, both men and women are working, having careers, and to some men it intimidates them.

The real life guys... I really truly think that I intimidate them b/c I don't get approached... And if I do.. its at weird moments and by strangers. For some reason I have guys hollering at me as I am just walking across campus. It isn't everyday... but I'll get a 'hey how are you?' or 'what up baby?' Those I just roll my eyes, give a half ass smile and keep walking.

Rather than actually take a couple of minutes to strike up a conversation??

Anyone else see the irony in that?

Why do you roll your eyes at someone in person asking how you are?

First of all, rofl you have to understand where I live. I live in the city of detroit. So the cat calls that I receive are from 'thugs' So I am not interested in dating a brother from the ghetto.. and even if I got a cat call from a white dude, I wouldn't strike up a conversation b/c 'hey baby' is so lame. If someone actually wanted to have a descent intelligent conversation with me, they could think of a better line than 'hey baby'

Ok...on a serious note. The women who intimidate me are those that think their sh?t don't stink and act like you are less than them. They suck. A real woman, IMO, cares as much for the rich guy as she does the hard working average Joe who can barely make his bills. Life ain't all about money and what you have. So much more to it than that.

As far as her making money, having a job, leading a company or whatever, I got no problem with that. Ultimately, it would be my goal to make enough money so she did not have to work. But at the same time, I would encourage her to do so if she felt the need to get out and contribute. Or even to break up the dulldrum of the everyday rut we all find ourselves in. Either way, her choice.
And if she made enough for the 2 of us, I would have no problem staying home to care for the home and family!!

Are you going to strike up a conversation with someone that looks you up and down like a piece of meat?

Understood, Tanya. No worries.flowerforyou

I didn't know that you actually live IN Detroit. Most of the time, Detroit can be substituted for any number of cities in that general area.

I'll be fond of downtown next Sunday. Got tix to go see the Saints beat the crap out of the Lions. Gonna be my first time going to Ford Field. Been to Comerica quite a few times though, so at least I know how to get there....lol
