oooooooh......I love a southern accent. Merle is a lucky woman! I'm not even from the south and I use: Ya'll ya ain't and a variety of others. I have "southern accent envy". I'm in therapy for it though. Ok Ruth, we'll fix you up on some good suthern tawking and ah, we are edjumacated, we jest like to use 13 letters of the alphabet and we say it slower so it sounds like we said more!

I keep seeing people getting bashed for their inability's to use proper grammar/spelling. Why point out someones flaws like its such a bad thing? One person's weakness is another persons strength, for what you lack in one department you make up for in another. What ever happened to being kind to your fellow man/woman? Kind of like bashing people because they bash people...sort of like a double negative, contradiction of sorts. Honestly I could care less, but it does a lot as far as who's email I reply too and those I ignore...the basis of internet dating is being able to communicate effectively, if you can't even do that then I simply won't put in the effort most of the time.

Apparently to be "cool" on here, you have to be ignorant. i would rather be ignorant (at least there is a possibility of learning) than be stupid (as that leaves out the possibility of learning)

Apparently to be "cool" on here, you have to be ignorant. Not at all, there are all kinds of people on here from all over and different walks of life that are pretty cool in my book. I hate to misspell words but it can happen and then again, proper english does not always sound right coming from someone that uses slang. I spell correctly or with slang depending on the mood and conversation basically. I'm college educated but love or luv to say edjumicated too

I've only said something once about someones spelling and we were basically having a little topic tantrum and jabbing at each other is all. Topic Tantrums thats a cool word, think it fits in a lot of places every now and then

I don't go around pointing out people's mistakes. But, it's not that hard to use spell check. This is one of the reasons I use Firefox. Spell check built right in . Seriously though, if your main form of communication is written, at least put forth a little effort to make it readable.

Hahahaha...If someone has a problem with proper spelling...send them to the Drenkin & Fonix thread....they will shoot themselves. I personally boycott the spell check thing...it only p!sses me off when it trys to correct my name with Crap, Crappy, Crappier or Crappiest....gggrrrrrrrrrr
