Do you like to make plans? Or, are you one of those last minute kind of people?

This guy that I've talked to a little bit has asked me out twice now. Both times he asked the night of. I already had plans, so I haven't gone out with him. If I wanted to meet someone new, I at least try to plan a little.. not wait until the night of. Maybe that's not what most people do, though.

Plans please. I consider it good manners to at least ask 24 hours ahead of time.

I like to plan especially when first meeting someone. It seems to make the date go a little smoother.

I would have to, since I'd need a sitter. I prefer to have plans when dating someone.

I probably would have gone out with him had I not been busy. But, that's been twice so far. Even asking a day in advance would be better than asking that night.

Well in this type of case.. I would always make plans. So then both partys have a good ideas of when we are gonna meet etc.

I mean it would be rude just to call some one out of the blue inless your long time friends and have been talkin for weeks about doing stuff that's different.

But yeah if it was me, I would make plans.. seeing as I work and never know at times when I might be free or not etc. So I would repesect the same out of the other person I would like to see etc.

this is why I like to chat and know someone prior to meeting them - we can have the confidence to pick up the phone and say, hey let's grab a bite winking

works for me - know it doesn't work for most flowerforyou

how about telling him this instead of us?laugh
and myself i'd prefer the planning of at least 3 days.... but if you told him that the first time there would not of been a second time.

Everyone is different when it comes to this. Just tell him if he wants to make plans with you it may be better to plan something in advance.

I prefer plans, but with my schedule sometimes I do things at the last minute as well. And, good luck when you guys finally do go out. bigsmile

Never said I didn't tell him. I was just curious what other people think and do.

Last minute isn't a bad thing and I know that planning something isn't always an option. But, we'll see, I guess.
