(Yet, Ironically, I somehow know that exact line from that retarded movie) besides...papers never print everyday suicide stories....unless the person is a celebrity. |

It was on a different site. At our first meeting he kept insisting we had met before. I said I don't think so. It went well. I agreed to another lunch. BIG MISTAKE.. He figured out how we met. We were together in previous lives. Downward spiral from there. I think I was Shakespeare - wanna go for lunch? Thanks, Will. But I think that I prefer the men I date to only have one life to live. Last time I was avoiding someone, I turned my phone off so it went right to voicemail... but my message was "Hi, this is Jill, I'm avoiding someone's call right now so leave me a message ... and if I don't call you back, assume it's you"  He finally stopped calling me.

I remember a few years back.. ANYtime there was no really attention getting news.. It was Jennifer Lopez on the cover.. she always sold... They will print ANYTHING... |

Hi, it sounds like a threat of suicide. He's not balanced given what you said. That's awful. I would tell the precinct close to you and state what he said as it is suicidal. Then you did your part. It has to be investigated to some extent.
I'm sorry you had that experience. People here pulled my previous thread apart but you go into things with good intentions and sometimes don't know what you're dealing with. Never let a guy or gal know where you live. Peace. |

And if it is on a cell phone, you can have his number blocked on certain provider's networks. I know Verizon does - can't say if the others do.

I bet it did. Sadly though some men out there don't get a clue about when a woman says no or stop, that it TRULY means no or stop!! Then the only way to make them understand is to get out the proverbial caveman club and beat them senseless with it! |

The cops won't do anything unless he's threatened you in some manner... I'd just keep ignoring him, turn your phone off for awhile so if he calls it'll just go to voicemail. Good luck, that really sucks you're in this position. Over three texts / calls within twenty four hours is the magic number to be legally considered harassment...  at least not when I tried to file a complaint before...

laurl, have u heard anymore from him? Jill I had to call the cops last night. He gave me an ultimatum, told me if I didn't show up at his house in an hour they would find him hanging from his rafters. I kept him online until they showed up. Then I got a text and 3 ims from him after that. |
