Not here they don't honey.... Got a couple of paramedic buddies who have scraped more than one off of the courthouse steps. In Abilene....suicides don't get press. I think she's talking about tabloids.

every time I didn't call the cops for stuff like this I regreted it at some point...better to be safe than sorry... I declined to file a complaint for a threat of stalking or to request a stay away order - even though the stay away was strongly suggested. I was still in love and cared, even though I wanted my home vacated because of an unwanted guest who had overstayed their welcome. It was a shock to be threatened with being stalked if I didn't allow them to live with me. That is what finally made up my mind to go to the police for help. I hope I do not regret declining the rest.

Sadly though some men out there don't get a clue about when a woman says no or stop, that it TRULY means no or stop!! And, you can say that again.

So I met this guy from another site. Had two lunches with him. He has completely gone off the deep end for me. Texting about 80 times a day starting at 330 am. This morning when I couldn't take it anymore, I called him and said to stop. No more contact, I was DONE. He tells me don't worry, you won't be hearing from me anymore. Just be watching in the papers.....Click. I have had eight more texts from him since then. Do I call the cops and report him as suicidal or leave it alone? If he knows where you live, involve the courts, and get a restraining order. Otherwise, and easier, would be to ignore him and delete them as they come in. Eventually the fire will fade and your life will return to normalcy, or whatever you called normal before you acquired a stalker. If you give him any attention what-so-ever, you become part of the problem.
