I thank you Jesus for all that you have done for me!!
You walk with me, holding me in your arms, sheltering me from all harm. Thank you for delivering me from my enemies and all that wish me to faulter. I thank you for your grace, mercy, and guidance. You spend all your time waiting for that second chance, sometimes at the end of the day its hard to see, but Jesus you somehow shine your amazing light and show the way.

I praise him for the friends that he has given to me. When I was still out there drinking and drugging I missed a good chance to make good friends. I met some fair-weather friends but as soon as the alcohol and drugs were gone so were they. Praise be to the Lord because he showed me the error of my ways. He helped me to communicate better and I found some people who really cared. Praise him for getting me off the pity pot and helping me to be a productive member of society. I praise him for helping me to stop running and learning how to live and not just survive.

God our Father,
by raising Christ your Son
you conquered the power of death
and opened for us the way to eternal life.

Praise you God for giving me such wonderful neighbors. I thought they were just stuck up and unfriendly. But the more I get out of my comfort zone and stop and talk to some of them I find that I was the one being stuck up and unfriendly.
