The thing that I find wrong with the American perspective on what is acceptable and what is not is that A movie full of violence is PG-13 and a Movie with nudity is R rated.
Is the human body worse than shooting someone? It is more acceptable for you to hurt someone than to have sex? wait wait wait...I thought sex, sexuality, and the human body were all beautiful things and violence was the dirty disgusting filth...I must have been mistaken.

Print ads also. Its all very tastefully done. Im not talking pornographic imagery, dont misunderstand. Like I saw a commercial for sunglasses once and it showed a topless woman for like 2 seconds. No big deal. It would be here in America. |

I concur. Someone just mentioned that Europeans do censor violence but they dont worry about the human form and sexuality because thats normal and healthy and they dont behave like snickering 8 years olds like Americans do. |

Are Europeans more comfortable with this than Americans? I have heard this but didn't know if it was a myth or not. The women don't think anything at all about walking around topless, freaked me out the first time I had a mother in law and sister in law walk around the house half naked, I mean, I didn't stare or nothing
