lately within the past month and half i have really fallen away from the lord and it hurts. i dont want to its just sin has its attrations. my own will takes its toll, i get slacking on reading the word. i just need help like some inspirational words. i fear i am going to commit the inpardonable sin! PLEASE HELP!

That sort of thinking is exactly what the enemy would put in your head.

Therefore there is no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus & are called according to His purposes.

Condemnation is not from God. Don't put so much pressure on yourself & the overwelming spirit will leave you.

I am realizing that emotions have no place in the solutions of our lives. Getting mad & upset or anxious is a waste of time. It really is. A calm atmosphere is how God made us. Anything else is a lie & not of God.

You can store that one in heaven where moths & locusts can't steal it or eat away at it.

First, you need to be able to forgive yourself and realize that we are all humans and we all make mistakes, no exception.

I won't go into detail, it serves no purpose. "Through Christ, ALL things are possible". Quick is absolutely right, those thoughts are from satan, rest in the lord my friend, take a time out and give thanks for all the blessings you have,ie: running water, food, shelter, the ability to think, people who love you(us), on and on and on,,,,,just relax and thank God that you are feeling his tug on your soul. That is proof positive you have not committed the "unpardonable sin" whatever that is, no one really knows!

It is obvious God wants you to come back to him, you know God exists and he is the creator of all things and you. But he made you his child, and because he made you his child and gave you choice, he gave you the ultimate choice to choose to be a child of God and to do the right thing. Never waist an opportunity to rise above the influence of evil. God gave you the right to take control of your life. He is with you even when you don't know he is. God loves you, the devil puts obsticals in your way that may look like love or atleast look like somthing that can feel good. The thing is, When you sin, no matter what kind of sin, there will come a point when you will hate yourself more for what you did than the actually act was ever worth. Because you know we are all Gods children and alot of us have been influenced by darkness more times than not. The Holy Bible is the bones and the foundation to build yourself upon so you can combat the evil in the world. Pray from the heart to God, Face the truth, give it to God, ask him to help you, guide you out of darkness and heal you and keep you close to him for protection. God does love you. I myself have felt as if I could not be forgiven for my past and the things that happened in my life because I did not take a stand when I should have. Now I am having a very very hard time. But I still love God because he is good and he does love us. Though I will never be perfect, I still love him. Godbless you.

Satan knows what we like. Guard your heart...what you take into your spirit. What you hear with your ears and see with your eyes.

1 Thessalonians [21] Prove all things; hold fast that which is good.

Remember God does not tempt us. Satan desires to sift us....to keep us from God. He will do that anyway He can.

James 1

[13] Let no man say when he is tempted, I am tempted of God: for God cannot be tempted with evil, neither tempteth he any man:

My advice to you is to stay in the Word and away from things that pull you away from God. Pray and fast and if you fail quickly repent. Once you do your sin is as far as the East is from the West.

When you go out into the world you are in a battle and even when you are alone you are in a battle of your mind so put on the "Armour of God" daily!!!

Ephesians 6
[11] Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.
[12] For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.
[13] Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.

Stay Close to God

Every day I try to stay close to God.
But when my day rolls into night

I know how you feel, and I've been in your shoes. I did not truly find the Lord, until I moved back home in 2006. The only thing I can help you with at the moment, is a short prayer that I say, EVERY night. It's simple, and to the point...

"Lord, please close the doors you do not want me to go through, and keep the ones remaining opened, that you want me to continue going through".

Exactly...If you speak in the name of Jesus Christ, whatever is pestering you, is forced to leave. It might sound ficticious, but it's not....(sp?) We will all be praying for you, friend.

A suggestion for a musician's standpoint...

... surround yourself with Christian music.

Instead of listening to rap, country, rock, R&B, blues, heavy metal or any popular music... just tune in to only music with a Christian theme.

When the battle is raging the most, praise Him even more. Especially in song.

If you are in your car or truck, tune in to a Christian station. If you have any Christian music CDs, play them and leave the others alone for a time. If you don't have any Christian music... message me here, and I can send you hundred of mp3s...

And pray...

... every time you can think about it, talk to God just like you are talking to any of your friends. He loves you, and is your best friend ever. Tell him exactly what you need, and you don't have to use some kind of thou's and thus's and ye's to talk to him. Talk to him with the exact same words you'd talk to anybody else with.

I ask you to bind the powers of darkness that are influencing my brother. Put this man in a situation where the sinful things are not as easy to get to. If it means friends have to go, then so be it, Lord. Help him to surround himself with Your people.

Teach him, Lord. He wants to follow your path. Give him strength, and bind the Devil from affecting his mind to think negatively. The fact that you are feeling convicted like this should tell you that God NEVER turns His back on us. He is wanting to draw you back to Him. Satan will do everything he can to cause us to doubt our salvation and will try to tell us it's ok for us to not read our Bible, pray, go to church, etc.

When I start feeling satan trying to distract me and I start going through trials that is when I pray more and call out to God for strength.

When we aren't living in God's will satan wont worry about us but...when we are trying to live a Godly life he is going to be nipping at our heels constantly! Some days I feel like I am satan's favorite chew toy. Just rebuke him and run back to God.

I agree... the flesh will always war with the spirit in us. We are to put down our flesh if we want to recieve the greater gift of God. for sure... We are to cast out that bondwoman & her son...they have no part with the heirs of God.

No man can be justified in their flesh...only by faith.

Mortality must put on the immortality... the corrupt must put on the incorruptable.
