i am so sad. my daughter is in such a mess and i cant help her, i can only be here for her. her boyfriend is such a jerk! he blows her off, stands her up, etc... all the time. he only wants her on payday. why cant she see this???????? they have been together forever. tonight, he calls her when she got off work, tells her to get a shower and get dressed he would see her in 45 min. she hasnt seen him in forever. she gets ready...this was at 920pm. its 1250am and she hasnt heard a word and has been in tears all night....im so discusted with him. but i am the last person she wants to hear a thing from...i know, i was her age once haha....ughhhhhhh my heart is broken for her!! i dont get it, she is so beautiful and has one of those personalities that when she walks in a room everyone turns and says "WOW!!!" so why????? why does she put herself thru this??? he dont work, he uses her, he is in and out of jail...etc....she is so bright and intelligent. ughhhh grrrrrr

thanks. its so frustrating having to sit back and watch your own daughter be treated like that and watch her hurt and suffer. yet on the other hand, she allows it and that frustrates me too, if not more. she was raised to NOT tolerate this crap...love makes you do funny things i guess...grrr

I'm so sorry...it's so hard to watch kids make bad choices! The sad reality is that this is her own path and you can do nothing. I wish that were different...but you've got a long haul of heartbreak unless she finds that self-respect inside herself. My thoughts and prayers are with not only her, but YOU because you've got the really, really hard job...watching.

you tell her that her big sis said that she deserves better than that trash! and if she wants help finding someone who is worthy of her. let me know im sure i can find one (im good at findin people for my friends.. lol.. just took my mama to help me find one for me) ive been in her shoes before.. youd be suprised what it is that you will do when you think you are in love.. when in fact its usualy just a matter of being in love with who you THINK he could be... you tell her i love her.. and you kno i love you..

Regardless of whether or not she was raised to tolerate this kind of behavior, he has her convinced that it is what she deserves and that she won't do better with someone else.
SHE is the only one that can decide that she deserves better than this. |

That in and out of jail part really sounds scary.Is there anyone else in her life that she might listen to? I think It must be human nature for women anyway that the more we are told not to do something the more we want it.

Ask her if she likes being treated this way..... When she says "No"............ its planted the seed. My parents couldnt believe some of the guys I put up with........and went back to. It was alwaysssssssss............'BUT I LOVVVVVVVVVVVVVVE HIM" BLA BLABLABLAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH CRAPPOLA SH*T!!! Only when they finally didnt say anything.......did I finally "GET IT"........AND left on my own accord. Geeeeeeeeeeez I was a stubborn kid!!!
