Ouch been there done that last year was a year I will never forget got sick the first of Nov and could not kick it till end of Jan went to the doctors 6 times every kind of meds they could give me had Phenomena/Bronchitis the whole time just keep going from one to the other. I coughed the whole time. 
This year I got the flu shot and on some heavy vitamins that are by Prescription and so far so good (knock on wood)

I am positive the mild weather in the winter has a lot to do with people getting colds and flus. You have to be a pensioner or on a low income here in the UK to qualify for cold and flu jabs, touch wood I don't seem to suffer lingering colds or flu. ( free) |

You can get a flu shot free or very cheap out here at any number of shot clinics they have set up.

I am not a believer of the flu shot - believe it brings more cons than pros to it (JMO) have heard it works wonders on some but not willing to participate (did ya expect otherwise from me)
