When I was a teen I remember staying up late in the summer time and seeing almost nothing but informercials on television. I dont see nearly as many now.
You think maybe the internet has given unemployed insomniacs others things to do, like post on forums, instead of watching television?

^The television stations now show old movies in the middle of the night instead of informercials. My dad says that is the way it use to be. He says before that they went off the air in the middle of the night but I find that hard to believe.

...and if you were babysitting and the TV stations (all 3 of them or whatever...)signed off, you knew the parents were LATE that night! Staying awake was gonna be tough from there on.

Odd, they still seem to be alive and well where I live. Probably a good thing because I work out to the Fitness based infomercials...

...I don't have a problem!laugh

When I was a teen, I saw late night movies on ALL NIGHT LONG. now, after a certain hour of the night, the late night talk shows give away to the infomercials.

They seem to be gaining ground. Not losing.
