I'm surprised no one has mentioned the 5th book. . . Yes there is another companion novel. Meyer has put it on hold because some idiot leaked her partial manuscript onto the net.

Anyway, it's called "Midnight Sun" and it is the story of "Twilight" told exclusively from the point of view of Edward Cullen. You can read the partial manuscript on Meyers, site. . . Sadly it only goes up to the meadow (Wink you know what i'm talking about) But it is soooooo good

i actually haven't read that one yet but i hope she does release it cuz i'd love to read edward's point of view. The movie was pretty good, love edward's reaction when he first meets bella in class :)

I've read all of the books and have to say that the movie was somewhat of a disappointment to me. Something about the chest hair on Edward, who's supposed to be smooth like marble...ew. And he was more dorky than elegant. (My vision of Edward is so beautiful that he would be best done in anime.) The movie got a lot more laughs out of the audience than it should have, like every time that Jacob and Jasper were shown. Horrible casting. I'll always love the books, but won't be enthusiastic about the New Moon movie until Rob agrees to wax and they cast another, less insane-looking Jasper. If anyone wants to talk about the books with me, drop a line.

I'm such a 12-year-old girl at heart, lol.

I read the book and loved it way before it was popular, so I was so excited to see the movie.
I did enjoy it, though I was a little dissatisfied with a few things, like the acting, and maybe the emotional range of a few scenes. But I liked it. I don't think I would've liked it had I not read the books, since I already loved the characters, which was a big part of me enjoying the movie, lol.
