I've read all of the books and have to say that the movie was somewhat of a disappointment to me. Something about the chest hair on Edward, who's supposed to be smooth like marble...ew. And he was more dorky than elegant. (My vision of Edward is so beautiful that he would be best done in anime.) The movie got a lot more laughs out of the audience than it should have, like every time that Jacob and Jasper were shown. Horrible casting. I'll always love the books, but won't be enthusiastic about the New Moon movie until Rob agrees to wax and they cast another, less insane-looking Jasper.
