Oh yeh, I think plans are being made to add him to some well known national monuments. I can't say which ones, that is classified information.

When they start erecting statues and putting up giant pictures of his face everywhere you will know we are sinking into an overt dictatorship.

Or like they did the savior Jesus, perhaps they have other plans for him... like a sacrifice.

Hey waving

So hope is cheezy?

Having the first person of color in office and saying goodbye to the Republican Regime marks the beginning of much new possibility. There's great potential for a shift in the how the world views the United States. If that shift occurs, there may even be potential for a shift in how the US views and responds to the rest of the world. This could mark the beginning of increased egalitarianism, nationally and globally.

Call me Polly Anna, but I'd say that's worth at least a smile...

Aye?

well to me it only makes sense if you take into concideration levianthan and behemoth in the story of JOB. They were supposedly dinosaurs, i dont believe, that i think they were symbolic creatures only - when you read of their features they may have been big animals but not dinosaurs. i think there symbolic of satan.

SOOOO - if thats the case then there really were no dino's back then, though there may have been big lizards like the now present Komodo dragons.[only larger]

the bible cant prove dino's existed it is just hypotheses at best. if you want to look at the fundies point of view - then yes it does say in genisis that all animals were veggies at first till Adam sinned, but i have to agree with Miguel - that is allegorial in context not literal. we could argue about it forever but it would do no good. so i'll let the facts of the words settle it for each individual as it should be.

You have to keep in mind the "literalist" do believe in a six T yr. old world/6 day creation scenario - so they have to back it up with what ever they can find to do so - but this does not make it true, at least not to anyone but themselves. I would tell you to ask god directly - but he's awful busy getting ready to start his presidency - laugh - and i don't think he'd aswer you right now -

To me i see archeology showing dino's older than several thousand years - i really don't care if their millions of years old or not, makes no diff. to me, but i'm sure they were not around on the sixth day of creation.

it shouldn't make any sense to you, it makes no sense to me, unless they can prove their case it will remain senseless, and that wont happen unless they find A&E's grave and their pet dino's buried with them - tongue2 waving winking flowers

I am wondering where all our fundies are on these forums, they used to be strong on all of these types of threads.

Great series of videos debunking many if not all of the YEC (Young earth creationist) arguments

Tribo- If it doesn't make any sense and no one can disprove that dinos were around millions of years ago... then why do so many people believe that they weren't??

No, hope is not cheesy. Hope is good. I actually think that you will see some positive change for a while in this country and that Barack will become very popular. (That could be part of the plan of course...)

Most dictatorships that rise to power require a popular leader. The laws are in place to give that popular leader all the power of a dictator. When Kennedy became so popular, he... well you know what happened to him. He did not go along with the program and was 'sacrificed.'

But what concerns me is the star struck blatant Idol worship I see for Obama. He is being called "savior." Not only in this country but all over the world. (Its very creepy as if fits in so will with all these conspiracy theories and predictions considering the plans for a One World Government.

I'm not into Bible Prophecy but he does fit the description of the very popular anti-Christ that rises to world power. (And I have recently discovered that he is supported by Zionist Israel factions.)

Sorry to get off the subject of this thread.

it's a form of mind control called "faith by indoctrination" Once your an insider - you have to agree or your not concidered a true believer.

Well, after Bush, anything is going to look like God. laugh

And McCain truly just represented a continuation of Bush for all intents and purposes.

So people are just excited that Satan was voted out. laugh
