Mine's Java. You don't need to worry about pointers like in C++, and Sun has a really nice pre-defined API you can use. The other big advantage of Java is that it is platform independent, although that can also be said of almost all scripting languages. I also like Python.

C# or any of the .NET Framework languages for that matter.

And they are Cross platform using monodevelop. Although Im starting to lean towards Cocoa

That's it. I use to master a language called Clarion a number of years ago, but I got away from that when I wasn't doing databases.

C is platform independent, you just have to have the compiler for it :)

Oh man... The first language I learned was the basic which I used on the ms-dos 3.1(?). You had to number all the lines...

Oh goody times.

I'm still programming just for fun, making game-prototypes and all that shizgebang with minimal programming skills.

Hence Python.
