I'm a 27 year old guy living near Boston, MA looking to start a relationship with someone. I currently work as a computer programmer at IBM. I'm kind of shy around people I don't know, but I'm trying to get over that. I definitely prefer smaller groups. I would describe myself as a very nice person. I often go out of my way to help out others, sometimes to my own detriment. I really need to work on that ;-). I'm loyal almost to a fault, but you don't want to get on my bad side. I can be quite clever and devious when I need to be. I try to be a very open and accepting person. I have no problems with gay/lesbian/bisexual/transgendered people. I also believe rather strongly that we're connected to our environment, and that harming it is ultimately harming us. Some things I enjoy are: computers, computer programming, Linux books and movies (particularly fantasy and science fiction) outdoor stuff (hiking, biking, kayaking, camping, swimming, soccer, tennis, ...) playing the piano and composing music listening to most kinds of music Some interesting tidbits: proud owner of a M.S. in Computer Science from U.C. Davis and a M.S. in Applied Science from U.C. Davis at Purdue, earned a B.S. in physics and computer science as a double major member of Phi Beta Kappa started Unitarian Universalist young adult groups at Purdue and First Parish in Northboro was in chess club in high school I have a pet box turtle who is 50 years old I went on a cruise in the Mediteranean this year, and it was awesome I'm reasonable good at ballroom dancing I voted for Obama
