There are individuals that choose to close off their minds and never engage new ideas. Its their choices! This is not about party affliation, not about terrorism or communism.... it is about American people... going to the polls! Making their voice heard! Believing in the american dream can happen for any one that dreams it! There is no doubts in my mind that this is a great thing for this country! I am foundationally a republican, but I voted dem in this election because there needs to be change! |

I can't help but feel alot of racism from some of these republicans...maybe just my imagination...wonder if they'd be causing this much stink if Obama was...white???  im not racist. if obama was white i would make the same statements. we needed a black president. but obama isnt the right one for me  sure ill get used to the terrorists having dinner in the white house. but whats my opinion. i only defend the soil you stand on. |

I can't help but feel alot of racism from some of these republicans...maybe just my imagination...wonder if they'd be causing this much stink if Obama was...white??? *Note: The Democratic Party was Pro-Slavery until after the Civil War. Racism isn't a Party problem at this point, it's an American problem. Im just wondering if you'd be this upset if he was...white...thats all  I like to think I would. That's about the most honest answer I can give. A straight up yes or no would be pure speculation.

Hi folks, I realize this night is a very emotional one, for most of us. I just watched Mccains concession speech. So, let's get down to business.... The man was nothing but supportive of the new president, and was very gracious, and supportive. Now if he can do that, surely we can try and move forward. We have to move forward people, despite our political differences, we are all people. Please pull together, it's really simple folks....You can chain two tractors together, and watch them bog down, or...you can pull one with the other and make progress. Well said Mark!
