Ever thought about that before?

I went to school in a heavy republican state, and was even VP of the conservative club at my university. In 2004 I voted for Bush, and like 37% of people who did, I now regret it. Dont make the same mistake again, everyone. Please, dont.

Everytime McCain says he will do something, I always ask "how? The senate and house will be a vast majority of democrats, enough to override a veto...so how will things get done?".

-Just today, McCain's campaign manager said "if the voters go to the polls thinking about the economy, we will lose".

-One of McCain's top advisors said that Sarah Palin has "gone wacko".

-The day after Obama's infomercial, McCain had so very little people at his rally, that his campaign had to bus people from schools around the area to make his rally look full. Both CNN AND FOX reported this.

-The other day at a rally in Ohio, Joe the Plumber was supposed to show up but wasnt there....this goes to show how disorganized McCain's campaign is. He cant even manage his own campaign!

-McCain's home state of Arizona....is now a toss-up state. What does that tell you?

-McCain voted 90% of the time with Bush...

-Before Clinton was president, Republicans accused him of being "too inexperienced, wanting to raise taxes, too young"...and look how great he did. Anyone who says Clinton was horrible, is in obvious denial. My whole family is STRONG republican, and even they know he was excellent. So he had sex in the oval office, wow big deal...we need to stop being so closed minded!

-Early voting has already shown in swing states, that registered democrats have been outnumbering registered republicans by as much as 4 to 1.

-Ron Paul and Bob Barr WILL steal many votes from McCain. Nobody cares about Nader anymore, and McKinney isnt too popular amongst green party people. Ron Paul will surely be the Nader of 2000 and 2004 who practically cost Gore and Kerry the election.

-Colin Powell endorsed Obama.

-The number of newly registered democrats since 2004 has grown past 3 million. And republicans, is only around 200K. In states where Bush barely won, like Florida and Ohio....approximately 40% of democrats voted...you think more democrats will vote this time? YOU BET THEY WILL!

-If you listen to McCain speak, he is SO NEGATIVE, he says the same things over and over again! More and more, people are tired of his negativity. During debates, he sounds like an angry old man. McCain can barely lift his arms, and he thinks hes fit to lead??? Just today he brought in Arnold Schwarzenegger and he totally bashed Obama for his "skinny legs and arms". Wow, very middle school...(yet McCain said weeks ago "we will be respectful"). He always brings up the same "Obama will raise ur taxes" jargon, which have been proven wrong time and time again.

-McCain talks about Obama having little foreign policy experience, yet Obama is on the foreign relations committee, and his VP (Biden) is the head of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee.

-Rupert Murdoch, head of FOX, says Obama will win in a landslide.

-McCain said something really dumb the other day. He said he loves being the underdog, that he does his best when hes losing. Hmm, when has McCain EVER been losing? In 2000, and he LOST (to Bush). Besides that, McCain has NEVER been losing.

-Sarah Palin...has a pretty low approval rating as governor. Shes a woman, in a state where abuse towards women is the HIGHEST. She said the war in Iraq is a task from God, and she said if Russia invaded Georgia again, she would wage war with Russia (if she became president). And yes, she believes dinosaurs existed a few thousand years ago. Palin doesnt even know the Prime Minister of Canada, and she thought Montreal was in France..

-I love how gas prices are suddenly going down, and OPEC just said they will cut production in November. Oh what a coincidence, lower prices before the election, and then raise them after the election....wow. Campaign strategy by the GOP ya think?

-McCain supporters irritate me. Calling Obama a terrorist, or saying he has ties to terrorists, downing him for his color, etc is just gross. I thought America new better than that. If Obama was a terrorist, how on earth did he pass the lengthy background investigation to become a senator? If Bill Ayers was a terrorist, why isnt he in jail?! How come hes a college professor? Doesnt anyone ask these questions?!

-A recent poll was done around the world, McCain .vs. Obama. The final tally was 82% to 9%.....OBAMA. Yet here, Obama leads by maybe 7-9%. This election will prove just how smart the American people really are.

Its simple....4 more years of this, or 4 years of change. Dont make the same mistake many of us made 4 years ago, 37% of us who voted for Bush now regret it.

If you're an Obama supporter, post this on other forums u subscribe to. Posting in the political section is dumb, everyone there already knows who they support, Im trying to reach out to independents.

It is WAY too early to read all of this I am sorry, but I am posting so it will be a fast find for later, when I am more awake.

But Just one thought(as I did read the first line) can Bush even run again? I thought that two terms was the limit.

Well take a look at Pelosi and her gang.............spent two (2) years on a rampant vendetta against President Bush and the Republicans....

Now, that is true concern for the USA....my oh my.

The "gang" will be even more venemous When McCain/Palin (YEA SARAH!!!!) win.....

If Obama is all about change and the majority say that the economy can not be turned around in that short of a time, wouldn't it be the right choice to at least try something new?
If we can ever get someone worth a **** to run, like Ron Paul, then maybe we'll stand half a chance in getting back to a sound economy.
So maybe we can give Obama a try for 4 years. If he's THAT GOOD, he can have another term, if not, I don't really believe we'll be much worse off than we are now.

Wow!

Democrats must think they got it all sown up.

Election ain't over yet they think they gonna have house and senate...

and President. And Ice Cream and Cake... And by darn you can count the chickens before the eggs hatch...

I reckon some of ya'll forgot the bailout response.

I, and many more like me voted against anyone I could vote against that said YEA to that piece of legislative thievery.

which should change the face of congress in ways that ARE NOT REFLECTED IN THE POLLS... (they have a limited response structure).

I don't think the pollsters even thought of this when the designed the polls.

very seldom does a President have a Congress that is not controlled by the opposition. Carter had a Democratic Congress (and we're still paying for that)

Reagan had a Democratic Congress, Clinton had a Republican Congress.

Bush had a Democrat Congress and then a Republican Congress and then a Democrat Congress.

I think it's best when the President has an opposition Congress. At least that way there is some sort of compromise rather than just shoving a bunch of crap down our throats
