Btw, I voted against citizens carrying guns in my city. ![]() I guess that you don't live the city, do you? Pretty sure your guns don't keep me free. They may, however, keep me awake at night. My feelings too. And road rage is bad enough already too. |

FYI - Guns shot off at New Year's caused a bullet to make a hole in my roof. There's nothing quite like snow melting and dripping into your home.

This...wait, isn't this kinda sorta extremely illegal? To force someone out of their position due to their political beliefs?

The U.S has over 300,000,000 guns, Canada has 7,000,000 Who here knows which country has the higher VIOLENT crime rate? Rember, Canada has much fewer people than The U.S Canada. Now do you know why? |

![]() The U.S has about as many people as it has guns, About Three hundred million. Canada has about twenty four and a half million people and seven million guns, And almost twice the crime rate as the U.S Despite a tendency to simply compare Canada’s violent crime rate with the FBI’s violent crime index, this type of comparison is inappropriate. First and foremost, Canada’s violent crime rate contains a greater number of violent 13 Data come from the Canadian UCR2 trend database. Feasibility Study on Crime Comparisons Between Canada and the United States 12 Statistics Canada – Catalogue no. 85F0035 offences, including homicide, attempted murder, assault (3 levels), sexual assault (3 levels), robbery, other sexual offences, and abductions. The FBI only includes four main offences in the violent crime index – homicide, forcible rape, robbery, and aggravated assault. The FBI’s exclusion of simple assault, which is the leading contributor to Canada’s violent crime rate, makes this comparison impossible. Therefore, a new “total selected violent crimes” category must to created, which includes the total comparable violent crimes: homicide, robbery and aggravated assault. As described earlier, the Canadian aggravated assault category would include assault levels 2 and 3 and attempted murder. http://dsp-psd.tpsgc.gc.ca/Collection/Statcan/85F0035X/85F0035XIE.pdf Read the whole thing. It's very interesting. Now, if you can find a comparison that takes into account the fact that Canada has more types of crimes that fall into the category of "violent crime" than the U.S. does, and Canada still comes out with a higher crime rate, then we can talk. I haven't been able to find any such thing. |

This is why i think we should have a entrance exam during the democratic process. Sort of a self styled Electoral College SAT. Maybe it would weed out the morons that are driving this country back into the dark ages.
GUNS DONT KILL PEOPLE, STUPID PEOPLE W/GUNS KILL PEOPLE!! "GUNS DONT KILL PEOPLE, IF GUNS KILL PEOPLE, YOU CAN BLAME MISS SPELLED WORDS ON YOUR PENCIL"--LCG |

I'm far too passionate about this country and patriotism there to to remain a mere spectator to it's eventual, seemingly evolutionary destruction from within. I am a registered republican that has slipped from the monster's grasp. Greed has replaced democracy and honor, leaving the names of their respective parties, republican and democratic, nothing more than playpens full of spoiled, bickering infants. I consider myself a conservative independant. I pray each and every day, each and every time I witness another liberal rip rights from the backs of the silent majority, only to award them to the pockets of the ever growing "squeaky wheels" of this nation. This is still a free country. BUT, to every action, there is an equal and opposite reaction. Mr Cooper has the right to endorse or reject either of the nominees, but should his employer suffer the consequences from it? PLEASE research Senator Obama's stand on the second amendment. A peek at the NRA website may enlighten you as well. If guns are outlawed, only outlaws will have guns. If I've misspelled a word, is it the fault of my keyboard? Thank you for reading and keeping an open mind. GOD BLESS AMERICA! Does anyone watch Supreme Court decisions?Your guns can't be taken away so please. Also a person should not have to resign a company he founded because he has different believes.Free speech and will is a joke.Mr Cooper good for you in not being a sheeple. Stop believing fear and propaganda and start thinking people. |
