once the court retires the ones ready and they get replaced cases can and will be overturned. yes i know how things work the deck is being stacked now for the showdown later..several things are in progress right now .why are the united nations still in the US. there is a play going on there to circumvent the constitution.. read about that and you will see .things are in motion that are not being brought to the light of day.

The hunters will always have their guns. That's the way it's always been.

In the debates Obama said that he wasn't touching the guns.

his record speaks for itself ..
now he's going to do an about face.i really don't think so.
i am from the government i am here to help you .bigsmile

Quote from Lyann:

"There SCOTUS recently affirmed your right to bear arms.

Do you understand the legislative and judicial processes?

Even if Obama thought no one should own a gun he couldn't do Muck all about it right now."

and you are correct in him not doing muck about it right now..now the taxing on said items is another thing ..you can own a firearm but the tax will make you think long and hard.a tax is a simple way of control too.. excise taxing will get it done ..

This...wait, isn't this kinda sorta extremely illegal? To force someone out of their position due to their political beliefs?

Btw, I voted against citizens carrying guns in my city.
GO A HEAD,TAKE MY FROM ME!!!!!!!!!!

huh

I guess that you don't live the city, do you?
FIND OUT WHERE I LIVE AND COME AND TAKE IT
MY GUN KEEPS YOU FREE

Pretty sure your guns don't keep me free. They may, however, keep me awake at night.

THEN YOU SHOULD PERHAPS COUNT THE SHEEP OF LIBERTY THAT MY GUN OWNERSHIP HAS CONVENIENTLY PROVIDED FOR YOU, MARXIST!
I think that the statement was meant for me. I think pingpong was trying to quote Karl Heinrich Marx, I tried to find the quote but had no luck. I think she was referring to me saying my guns keep you free.

Well at least that context makes more sense.
Not only do I have to keep you safe,But I also have to keep you informed

Why do you feel you have to keep us safe? Are you a police officer?
Why did daddy tell you only police officers know how to fire a wepon

Excuse me? Daddy?huh Was I rude to you?

I know how to fire a gun myself.

Since you aren't a police officer ...our servicemen keep our country safe.

Were you in the service then?

Again, I am not rude to you.

What's wrong with not wanting people to carry concealed weapons? It's not about taking guns away.

It won 51%, btw.

The Governor overturned it and made more rules about it. No guns in federal buildings, etc.

And I see that you didn't answer my question.

you are rude. My gun is legal I am trained in firing it, as all my guns. you on the other hand think that I shouldn't own it, or carry one of my hand guns. I have spent 20 years of my life being trained by the goverment.

I am not against people owning guns. I have friends that hunt. I have taken a rifle and pistol range class. I know people that have guns. I also know a person that has been shot by a gun - my mother. It was freak accident when she was a child. I have treated patients that have been shot by guns.

But..I am not against people owning guns.

I don't care for them to be concealed weapons. I don't want to be at my child's basketball game and there are people sitting next to me with concealed guns. And that's only one example.

There is nothing rude about that. It's about my safety.

How many people that have LEGAL hand guns with a CCW that have gone to a child's basketball game and shoot at anyone.

Last night someone put up a post about someone shooting through his front door and killing a kid because he saw them comming to his door wearing masks. The caught him and he is in jail. When he's convicted and given his sentence of death how many people will cry that him dying for his crime will not bring back the child that was killed, But will want to make more gun laws. More gun laws will not stop that from happening, after all he was a felon doing drugs. So I guess more gun laws won't work, but the death penity will work if people will let it.

Lol, yeah that's the one. And I assume it was mysterious that posted it, but I see no record of him posting it. I think Ping pong was only quoting and deleted one too many tags.

Was going to respond to his post, but if it was deleted..... perhaps I should let it lie.

Too bad. I had lots of good sheep material.

lol, no it was definitely me, but I was joking. ;)

edit: and the debate about who said it is making me laugh

pingpong : that's funny. Thought for sure I had been called a marxist! that would have been a first for me.

mysterious : feel free to defend yourself however you feel fit, but you're doing nothing for me in wherever the heck Hell, Arizona is. If you've served in the military, I thank you for your service. And if you're holed up in a bunker in the middle of the desert waiting for the government to march in and take your guns..... I think you're going to be there a while.

That's what I was trying to figure out. I was trying to figure out why he feels like he's protecting us.

I have a few guns

and most every one I know has several guns

but some of the gun control issues I agree with.

a five day waiting period is a good idea. If you need a handgun and you need it NOW, then you prolly need it for the wrong reason

and some people (even in this thread) have no business being anywhere near a gun

and on the other hand, there are few things more fun than mixing alcohol and firearms

I'm all about the compromise. I'm quite certain that when the founding fathers gave us the right to bear arms, they didn't mean that we had the right to own a nuclear weapon, not that they could picture it either. There are lines to be drawn.

I like the five day wait. I'm mixed on CC. But I have no problem with handguns in the home. Be safe. Teach safety, but don't kid yourself... kids are curious and will play with them if they can get to them. Seen it too many times. Did it myself when I was a kid... and my dad would have beat me if he knew.

This is my mom's freak accident. My grandfather was a hunter. He was unusually good about keeping the bullets out of the guns when he got him. But..he overlooked one. Humans make errors.

My Uncle was playing outside with a bow and arrow. The arrow was a ruler. He shot the ruler through a hole in the screen door.

The ruler hit the trigger of a gun in the gun case. My mother was a little girl inside of the house. The gun fired and hit her in the abdomen. She was rushed to the hospital.
She was front page news with her photo.

She was lucky. She has two scar holes. The bullet went in her stomach and out the other side.

I was always taught that unloaded guns kill more people than loaded guns

one time when I was a kid about 10 years old, I was dove hunting with my dad.

He was at the edge of the pond cleaning a few dove as I came walking up. I had a very unreliable double barrel .410 in one hand and a 12 gauge in the other.

The .410 went off and the pellets hit my dad in the back. Luckily his game vest was full of dove and all it did was knock him into the pond

when he came out of the water hissing and spitting all he saw was two shotguns laying on the ground cause I was runnin

I'm not doing a d@mm thing to protect you in fact I will NEVER do a d@mm thing to protect. If anything were to happen to you I will not lose a min. of sleep. I said my guns keep you FREE, not protect you. as long as you have the right to keep and bear arms you keep your freedom, But when you vote for anything against that right you give up a part of your freedom. I see you will never understand that, But be careful not to give up my right. [No I'm not living in a bunker, that shows stupity to say things like that]
