The whiney threads get to me.....I will admit it. I have to sit on my hands so I dont type something mean. Because there is a difference between generally asking for help and begging for people to say "Awwwwwwwwwww youre pretty.....dont worry about it" etc. 
attention whores can be rather annoying,, if you need complete strangers to certify what you should know about yourself,, well,, this aint the place for it. cause there are so many fake people here that its not funny. attention whore...hey...I'm offended  putting people down for there opinions is wrong...but let us remember...my kind of fun might just be different than your kind of fun

see with mrtap and fran,, i dont mind them having fun at all,,, but they are not trying to hurt anyone. this site used to be soooo much fun,, and now it seems like we have to be defensive of our friends and people who we care about.  
there are plenty of times I would love to jump into a thread and protect a number of members, however, there is always the possibility that there is more than the eye can see. By now we are familiar with 'us' the daily posters, so easier to navigate thru threads (for me) this is not personal unless one allows it to be - thats how I have a blast on these forums and dont get me wrong there are some that love to take little jabs at me, but you know what - if it makes them feel good - go right ahead. I know me, my value, my worth, my heart, my intentions and my esteem is too high to be belittled and chastized... hey I have enough grey hair to prove it

Lately, I've been mostly sticking to a couple of threads, usually because the negativity just gets to me. This used to be a place where people could thread hop, have a good time, express opinions, ask for help, etc and it was a pretty positive place to be. Now, a lot of time, it's just negative. And it makes me sad and angry and irritated and I don't like myself when I get that way. So, I just try to keep to myself. And I don't like that much either. What to do, what to do? wanna ck out mrtap's hidden cam???

This is a difficult topic. I've been reemed by the mods for making new people feel unwelcome.
You can have a perfectly innocent intent....or an unusual sense of humor like I have...and offend people. I think it's a compromise. People should be at least somewhat sensative to how what they post might be taken. And we all should not be so sensative that we take offense easily to what others post. We should be free to be ourselves and let others be too. Let's all just collectively take a great big chill pill and go back to having a buttload of fun!!

i see the op point,but on here things can be blown out of proportion,i have posted before and spent the whole time trying to explain myself,because someone took it the wrong way and then a chain reaction started.its goin to happen period no matter how long you've been on here
 but the ones that come out and are just plain i dont have any morals at all then i can see that upsetting people.
