But, none of this transfers into text. It seems that without the tone in my voice and body language she doesn't get it and may even think I'm insulting her or she's offended me some how.

I've said things like "OMG! you are such a little sh*t. My mother warned me about girls like you" while I nudge her with my hip. She'll giggle and nudge me back. How could that be translated into text only?

Yes, I do go out to nightclubs, coffee houses and the like and I do flirt with and date mostly women in their 20s. I'm not opposed to dating older women. I just never see any of them out.
