Infomercials have a specific function...

They exist to sell you something you don't want or need, can't afford and never would have bought without the darn mercial.

they are also delibrated over before production to cause the most reaction of the largest part of the viewing audience (macroeconimics)...

In most cases an infomercial is used to sell a product that can't sell itself on its own merits...

Cav-E-at emptor... or some such nonsense.

I just watched it. As someone already in the tank for Obama, it was very inspiring and brought tears to my eyes in a couple of places. If I were undecided or decided for McCain, it wouldn't have brought me over, but I think it might have given me some things to look up if I hadn't researched the candidates already.

It has a Bass-o-matic.
