I've never had to pay for a date. Even when I ask a man out and have tickets to a function, they insist on paying.

Alot of girls insist on paying these days. I insist pick up the bill and if they fuss about paying I let them get the tip

U know sometimes I pay because that's just howI am then I don't feel like I owe anyone anything! 
OH, YES!!! There are some guys where I've INSISTED on buying at least my own as I felt like they had me on their "dessert menu". It made me feel somehow less obliged. And, I HAVE had men say I should "put out" since they bought a freakin' meal!!! Geeeeez!!!

I want to find a girl who will pay sometimes. Not that I'm cheap or anything, but when you go out with someone constantly and always pay even when you didn't ask for the date I find it unfair.

I was raised that, yes, whoever suggests the date should pay. I've paid for a LOT of dates, even when the guy brought it up, and I can't say I've ever had a fella have a problem with that. So, it would be nice to have a fella treat me, especially the first date, just to see what it's like after these past few years of being the 'bank'.

After that if she really wants to pay once in awhile, thats OK. But it does make me feel a little awkward. Its not an equallity thing its more of a gentleman's manners thing. |

If it bothers you that much and you are comfortable talking about it, tell her.
I did & she insists, I'll just go with the flow  ( maybe I'll say I have to go to the bathroom & pay the waiter on the way)
