Anyway, I was thinking about a webcast where I'm reading Richard Dawkins' "The Ancestor's Tale" to a cage full of tarantulas while waxing my car. But then I realized TMZ would be all over that one.

It's all a veiled attempt to get Ckeckout Girl to do my laundry for me. I really hate doing laundry.

I can't top that, no matter how hard I try! Laundry is overrated anyhow Lex.....just buy new underpants every week or so and use the old to do the waxing.

Yeah, but the second one isn't out yet. In fact, on Monday night, after much debate and nuclear conflict, I finally agreed on the picture of me for the back cover. Last night I found a spacing error on page 72 (I thought I had caught everything a few weeks ago!), so I won't have the final PDF of the text until probably tomorrow.

The plan is to send the two PDFs (cover and text separately) to the publisher early next week.

My third book is actually half done (there's a preview bit of it in the second one) but it's on a computer that no longer works, so I haven't been able to access it to work on it for several months now.
