Why do some women think that women who CHOOSE to stay at home aren't intelligent or capable in their own right? Or that it lessens them somehow to do that?

I really don't think women DO think that. Women, more than anyone else, know how much effort it takes to run a household.

Women have more of a problem with men who think that situation is the only way it should be.

There is a relatively large Amish community in my area. From my observations, the man's word is law in that community. The women are not completely powerless because they still have to make sure that the household runs smoothly, but it's not the kind of power that gives them an equal say in the way things are done.

I have absolutely no idea. lol
