I have to agree...as far as pics it just depends on my mood for any given day...But there are of course my real pics also. But cmon there are so many that lie use fake pics, etc. I think getting to know is the only way...and then even then you can get snookered it's part of the world of internet dating....sure glad I don't do it....

should - Used to express probability or expectation - not requirement so long as person has pictures on their profile - whats the big to do? how is having a picture up going to make you safer? It's not.

I have been on here for awhile, since the end of Just say Hi. I was surprised by all the avatar use and when i posed the question why people were doing it, most told me it was all in fun. Just not, I found out that i was talking to someone on here that was using a photo of some celebrity. I am apparently out of the loop since I had no idea. I had not plans of meeting him, so at the end of the day it doesn't matter. I do think that when someone does run across this they should report it right away and not assume everyone else knows. I gotta lotta pictures of my boyish self on my profile.

You need to use common sense in everything, especially the internet. It's so easy to lie on here, and many people do. And anyone who really believes a celebrity would be on here, well, that's just silly, LOL

In the guidelines, it states that the person "should" be in the picture. It is not manditory as it is on other sites. I like being able to play with my avatar, changes with my mood. Yes sometimes I put the plain old pic of myself. BORING. You want my face, come perv my profile.

On my last site there was a guy pretending to be a top hockey star, who earns abut 5million a year. He was as dumb as f**k but nobody could ever prove him wrong. I just hounded him in the forums every time i saw him, he was an easy target.

The pic that's up right now, was put there mainly because when I first joined, I couldn't think of a name that wasn't already taken or to use it I had to add a bunch of #'s or something. I don't like what I chose now...the tag was made for me a long time ago and it has my name in it. There's real pics of me in the profile: it's usually what's up that determines whether a person takes the time to read a profile or not.
