I once found a bank bag with over 4000.00 in it. I was scared it was drug money. It belonged to people traveling around the world in thier sailboat & was all they had. I turned it in & they claimed it & gave me 200.00.

its only 130 dollars! Even if its fake you can still pass it over somewhere. Ohhhh no you can't. My Mother got a 5 dollare bill back in change at a gas station once and when she tried to spend it at McDonalds the next day they detained her and called the police because it turned out to be fake. |

I went for a LONG walk tonight to the lake. And part of that walk lead me on this trail. No houses or buildings around. Just a quiet man made trail with trees and stuff around. I was listening to my iPod and like always just staring at the ground as I walked. I saw this envelope and notice it did not look empty. It caught my eye so I picked it up and opened it. Inside there was $130 in 20's, 10's and 5's. My question to you people of Mingle2 is, what should I do with it? What would you do with it? Please note the envelope was just plain white, with nothing on it. i recall returning an envelop with money to later find that this person would have been incapable of paying her house payment with out this money, however i had some information inside. If you dont know whos it is, it is rightfully yours.. |

i remember one yr i went to the bank with my mom as she deposited some money into her account and the teller gave her a recipe of $1,000 and she only gave the teller $100 not a $1,000 we laughed about there mistake and she never told them
|

i remember one yr i went to the bank with my mom as she deposited some money into her account and the teller gave her a recipe of $1,000 and she only gave the teller $100 not a $1,000 we laughed about there mistake and she never told them I probably would have done the same thing but the teller probably lost her job because that would be a really big discrepancy when they counted her drawer at close. |

Are you talking about the recommendation to keep the money??? If it had ID then it would necessitate return...without, why can't that be HIS karma to find it??? He can keep it, spend it, use it for the good of others...that's a whole different path that he's responsible for. Maybe I'm missing your point... please explain...OR maybe I missed something in the original post??? |

You know wolf, I have always thought of you as a friend. And if I had the right information or any information for that matter, I would return it. But like Galendgirl said, why can't this just be good karma for me? I mean lately I have been working my butt off, under paid and under appreciated. So yes why can I not get good karma for a change? |

No ID, the notes are real take it from me, the police would laugh in your face ( and probably put in the Widows and Orphans fund box) or may even keep it themselves, or tell you to keep it.
