What do you think of the concept of mail order brides. Do they come with a warranty?  Are these women being exploited? I am exploited, as taxpayer, laborer, voter, and other things. I do not care, but avoid the hype and ego trips when I can. As for mail order brides being exploited, if I recall rightly, the stability and level of annual income and other critical factors are ensured, for her sake. It's a ticket to exploit a husband, too, because the mail order bride can divorce him and she has her naturalization and other stuff in order. These ladies are advertising for a trip to Wally World, and also thinking of helping their kin in the mother country. It's business. What would you rather have? A westernized lady who is looking for anyone but you, or a gal who is grateful for a shot at life and she thanks God Almighty that the mail order system works? |

There should be a try before you buy policy.
You can. The fiance visa gives you 90 days. To try her out. You either marry her and change her visa status or send her back. Russia is not poor like it was 15yrs ago. They have a stronger economy than the U.S. If they allowed foriegners to own land. My buddy and I were ready to set up shop and live over there. I really enjoyed it. I've been there 4 times and I was 12hr train ride outside of Moscow. |
