Do you think its wrong- or would you be offended- if your date used a coupon to help pay for lunch or dinner?

Some ladies I know would not stand for a guy using a coupon!

LOL I get the Jew jokes all the time, one for being Jewish and two for actually happening to have coupons for pretty much everything!

If my date doesn't have a coupon for the dinner, then I just might have and whip it out. I'd rather them save money and buy me a pretty present than waste it on something that lasts only until it meets the porcelain god later.

    Hey, in a inter-faith relationship, it's my job to maintain the cheap Jew stereotype for the both of us.

Coupons always impress a date much more than a dine and dash.

if the whole date is about dinner..a coupon would be tacky. If we're grabbing a bite to eat on the way home after a major blast of fun somewhere else..coupon's the bombexplode

I think its fine to use coupons if you have them. After dinner im going to take my date for a buy one get one free haircut, and then get my tyres pumped for free when i buy 20 Marlboro.

rofl rofl rofl rofl rofl rofl rofl

Especially when the date can't run as fast as you!

Or when you dash while she's in the bathroom!

Coupons always impress a date much more than a dine and dash.

I think that depends on whether she sees you using it or not.. I personally think it would be a little tacky on the first date to use a coupon at a restaurant but like if you had coupons for something that can be FAIRLY expensive....I think it would be okay.. best bet is no...no coupons on a first date.. second or third yes but first no...

Not on the first date, if you invite someone to dinner and I don't care if it's man asking woman or woman asking man, you pay for it. Coupons would just be tacky, and held off until you know the person better. If it's the money concern than a cheaper place to eat, go for coffee, or pack a picnic lunch

There are so many other options

I really would not have an issue with it...

I think it would be a topic of discussion if the only places we ever went to were ones where a coupon could be used...

I think there was an episode of Golden Girls about this...

maybe it is my age...biggrin

coupons on the first date why not,if it doesnt bother the person using it then why should it bother his/hers date.its better than saying, "well are you going to help pay half".
