Topic: Can Men & Women only be friends? | |
---|---|
Yep, I have quite a few male friends who are just friends that I don't want anything more from.
Sure why not...I have a one or two.
Not sure....all the male friends I've had have always wanted more. |

No. I've tried on several occasions. Every time one of us wants more. |

If there is a spark there that keeps you up at night....you ain't gonna be just friends. If you smell her scent when she is miles away...you ain't gonna be just friends. If you send her on a beer run solo or will fart in her presence unapologeticlly....then you are friends. Basic stuff bro. that's some funny stuff |

Yep. And I don't just think that, I know it. lol

And...a more telling question may be "Can a man and a woman only be lovers? That one, I'm not sure of. I mean for free.

I was best friends with a girl for a year. Firstly it killed my chances of meeting an actual girlfriend. Secondly her ex husband got her pregnant. Then I find out she wanted to be more than friends. They got back together and we never hang out or talk any more; jealousy from husband as he knows she wanted more from me. I miss her as a friend but I can do without the complications.
If this was a guy friend there would be no wanting any more from each other, no jealous partners, no complications. So yes, a platonic friendship with the opposite sex is possible but beware the potential drama and complications it can bring you. |

It's a great disguise to get what your really after. Some women are more vulnerable when it comes to their guy friends.

Yes, some of my closest best friends are male, and have been for years.
It depends on the person, some people just don't click that way with the opposite sex unless it's relationship based but look beyond that and you could be suprised at what you may be missing out on. |

You mean they CAN be friends?

I have two very good female friends.
Both are where I work. One is my ex g/f. |
