Topic: Pray 4 Military Mom { Journey2008 } & Sons !!! Please | |
---|---|
Lord, counsel and sound wisdom is yours, You are the God of all the earth, there is nothing that is hidden from Your sight. We come to You Lord and ask for Your wise counsel to be with our military leaders. We acknowledge Lord, that apart from You we can do nothing. Please give our commanders the wise guidance they need, and the wisdom they need for success. Confound the wisdom of the wicked Lord, and give Your strategies to our troops. Guide them with Your eye upon them and bring them through to safety and peace. In Jesus name, amen! Prayers for dear Brenda to find new work She gallantly quit her job & uprooted her home To move in with Family & help with the children While their Daddies are serving their Country & to think that so many of us Civilians are so wimpy & whiney These people are the true movers & shakers... there are no words to commend these folks adequately for their kind of hard work, love, loyalty & dedication Thank you for the prayers, Nessa. I am all moved now. I got here yesterday! The grandkids were happy to see me and I think my daughter in law was relieved. My grandson has a follow up appt. for his surgery today and she was going to have to take the other two out of school, had I not been here. I'm going out looking for work today. Hopefully, with God's help, it won't take me long to find something. |

My thoughts are still with you thanks whisper Now if I can just get a job, I won't feel so nervous about the move. But then again...the beginning of the year, if not before, we will be doing it all again. My son finds out around the 15th of November where he is going to be stationed, and we will all be moving again. Your thoughts and prayers are really appreciated. |

I am getting excited! Not too much longer till I have BOTH my sons and their families in the same room! I don't get that often enough! It's going to be a bittersweet visit. The boys will be leaving around the beginning of the year to go overseas oh, what an occasion... how thrilling that will be and so full of extreme emotion soooo happy yet with a deep, underlying sadness to see your two big hunky boys together and with all of your whole Family in the same room knowing that they are going to be deployed again... I feel for you & your whole Family I hope you have a great time, get many pictures & savor every minute... I love you lots Sister .. ..my heart & spirit are there for you |

God Bless America, U-S-A It started in the Revolution and continued through the Civil War In World War One, she was there to greet our boys back on the shore In World War Two when we dropped the bomb, then onto Korea and Vietnam Waving proudly for all to see --- our Stars And Stripes, our Old Glory You see them flying on the poles and they mark every grave For every soldier that perished for a country they fought to save And those who seek to burn her never tasted the agony of war They just don't understand what she really does stand for: She stands for freedom and for justice and the right to live in peace She stands for unity among all nations and for future wars to cease >From the tip of Maine across fruited plains to Californ-i-a We can all rejoice and say in one voice, "We love the U-S-A!" It's just a simple story of honor, pride, and glory And a bond of courage and trust to stand for the one who stood for us A true image of democracy for generations through and through As we walk hand-in-hand across this great land --- God Bless the Red, White, and Blue That flag, she's seen us through it all through those conflicts in the past We stood tall with us in victory and mourned with us at half-mast How could anyone ever take a flame and try to erase every name Of every soldier that paved the way for us to live, as one, in the U-S-A She stands for liberty and bravery and the rights of all mankind The hopes and dreams of everyone and the time we all can find That everyone, everywhere can stand and proudly say "God Bless America, "God Bless America, "God Bless America, U-S-A" |

Give Thanks
Take a very good look at our great country's living book with new pages being added each day to the blessed life of the USA that goes beyond what words can convey. America's wonderful unfolding story is one of freedom, honor, friendship, and glory strongly rooted from Her founding seeds, sustained by proud beliefs, brave deeds, united will . . . and unyielding love of our nation under God above, which we celebrate on July 4th each year in memory of all that we hold very dear. So, give thanks for where you are and to those who are near and far doing their valiant best to protect us all and keep our beloved USA strong and tall. By David G. Bancroft |

God and Country
We must never forget how those desperate few came from afar, crossing an uncharted ocean in wooden ships, risking all to start their lives again in an untamed land that allowed them the freedom to express their faith in God. They did so each day as they toiled to survive the harsh conditions of this new frontier, thanking God for allowing them to be here, and keeping Him always near in their thoughts and hearts, knowing even in the worse times and greatest fears their belief in Him would persevere. These are the ones whose children and grandchildren would one day take another stand in their colonial homeland for freedom's sake that gave birth to our beloved USA. So, think about where our great country would be without a faith in God that began with those long ago, and sustained strongly so throughout Her glorious history to this very day. That is why America is and will always be the land of the free, deep rooted in love of God and country! By David G. Bancroft |
