ok here is the scenario. I have been emailing and chatting with this guy for a couple of months. He claims he does not have a phone only a company phone so he cannot call me. We made tentatively plans to meet at a sports bar. twice. each Sat he has an interesting excuse for cancelling. Should I give him another chance? or should I drop him? I want opinions

he's toying with you. probably is afraid to tell you he's not into you so he makes up lie after lie until it escalates to a date move on.

having being stood up before in a way, i would say go with your gut. if you know they're excuses, i say break it off.

give him a chance, i too have only a company cell and private use is punishable by termination! ugh. also he might just have really ****ty luck when it comes to going out on the town,lol. 3rd time is the charm id say.

i say... drop him. it's obvious to me that this guy may be married or involved with someone. there's a lot of guys out there, not only him so i say drop him and move on...

No phone? Man, my eight year old nephew has a cell, with unlimited texting...so this dude has to have a phone. Last time I checked, phones aren't that expensive. Dump his ass.
