What's to walk away for? It isn't like she might be surprised that you're human, hurt, pissed, and a real guy. Women know that stuff.
What matters is if you're going to hurt her, and if she knows that you'd cut off your arm and nuts rather than hurt her.
If you step away from her, that will make you unsafe for her to trust. That's not you. That is not the person you want to be for her...or for yourself.
