I dont know why love suddenly ends........it just sometimes does.

No explanation.........nothing.

We have all been there and I dont believe there hasnt been a person who hasnt cried......who hasnt been walking down the street and suddenly wanted to go down on their knees and bawl their eyes out.........

what to do?>???? Time and inner reflection.......thinking...........always thinking and enjoying life.......somehow........somewhere.........

make yourself so busy you dont even remember your own name.........

or stay drunk!! drinker

Looking back, seeing whom I was when I was in love, and then looking at the tracks between then and now, to see if I've come a long ways or not changed enough.

I look until I see me as others see me, for that is how whomever I want to love will see me.

Self-satisfaction with myself will not endear me to anyone else...unless they happen to adore self-centered smug people.

If she's looking in now: I want to love you.

If she says those words to me, then we begin the journey towards togetherness and love again.

If you are reading this and you believe in love, please leave some sort of statement or story that someone else may read and find encouraging. If not, then I hope that my rant has at least made you rethink your own situation. If you are alone, don't lose hope. If you are with someone, pull them close to you and take every opportunity you can to let them know how much they mean to you. Don't let a single day pass being upset with one another...you don't know how much time you will get together!!! Cherish them and treat them How they deserve to be treated! BE FAITHFUL. Above all else, make sure they know just how much you love them. Don't sweat the little things. Compromise. Tell them that you want things to last forever and make sure they know they are the one for you!!!

Thx for taking the time to read this...I know its kinda long.

I just wanted to thank you for posting this; it is extremely well-written and impacts me on a number of levels.

As a writer myself, I can honestly say I wish we had more of this kind of thing here in the forums.

As for me, personally, I've gradually come to the conclusion that "love" is one of those things that exists only in the most ethereal sense -- a goal, something to strive for, but something that exists only as an unattainable construct, in the end....like "freedom" -- the concept is appealing, the goal worth a great deal of effort, but the true totality behind the ideal can never be accomplished.

Then again, I tend to be a bit cynical about this sort of thing....

Lex... yes, I can relate. I too can be overly cynical. I am going to post in the popcorn thread about my date with cowboy cop. I'm glad I wasn't cynical about that one.

I agree with the OP, it is definitely laugh and smile over frown and gripe, and carpe diem but keep the future in mind. Life is a delicate balance but we choose what colored glasses we use.

Sh!th happens, life goes on...better to have love and lost than never to have loved at all..yada,yada,yada..
