Topic: TO ALL MY CONSERVATIVE MINGLE MEMBERS! | |

I'm not getting into the middle of this but I have a couple of things to say. In the 60s yes we had very ignorant people vote for John Kennedy because "he's so handsome" ..... (we ended up in Vietnam losing 58,000 lives there not counting the ones that came home to disrespect and couldnt deal with life here anymore). Secondly a young man running for office in Cuba also promised "Change" and how everyone would be equal. They got change and everyone is equal (poor).... the man was Fidel Castro.

Furthermore there is in fact a "shadow government" run by this federal reserve. They appointed a comittee to select to major candidates, one democrat, and one republican. Sounds tin foil hat to me. It's fact my friend. Wanna see something scary. Print out all the policies Obama and McCain talk about in their websites. Line them up next to eachother. You will be shocked at how similar they are from one another. If you don't believe me i offer you a chance to prove me wrong... |

You made good points with this |

McCain has said, publicly during this campaign that government spending must be reined in, and that the National Debt is being ignored.
He has also said that lobbyists will meet with a calling out and names named if they try to sabotage bills that are for the good of the country. Somehow, that's better than nothin'. |

I think Dredz got tired and left.

Now we have a point for McCain... I have heard (dont know how true this is), that McCain has fought pork barreling at one point... |

I think MTV should have a McCain and Obama dance off
That will get the youth voting!!! Ha ha |

I think Dredz got tired and left. Honestly im feeling tired myself. With no satisfaction either... I feel like people immediately discarded what i said and are back to blind party politics again... Oh well... What your take on all this? I like that point you made earlier... |

Ok... I'll bring up one good point about obama. He was a social/community advocate. He clearly has been in the treaches of poor America. For a social work perspective, it gives me hope that social needs reform might actually reflect needs. But my conservative side, is afraid of uncontrolled and regulated spend on services that aren't properly managed. That sounds well thought out. And a very good point. Just got one question though, if he was poor how did he get into Harvard? Did he have a scholorship? Yeah, if you hadn't guessed his big spending does kinda give me the willies too. Thus i cannot really argue against any of it, as you have obviously thought this through. I am poorer than poor. And I will be applying to Harvard within the next couple months. If he got his grad degree from harvard, than most of the time institutions will provide at least full tuition rides. |

Good luck with you application. |

Well, Tanya is the only one out of... How many Obama supporters? That appears to have done their homework. It is nice to see that you actually do think things through. I never said that I was an Obama supporter. I just think logically about situations. I am a moderate republican. And I still don't know who I am going to vote for. I don't vote party lines, I vote for who I feel will support what I feel is right and just. |

Drivinmenutz Are you familiar with Alex Jones? Yeah, he had a couple talks with Ron Paul. He also did a movie called "End Game", about the Bilderberg group. (They had another show on the History channel about it.) Lots of good info, but he seems like he's trying to rally up a crowd a bit too much so i have a natural tendency to take him less seriously as a result. But he has brought some interesting FACTS to people's attention. What's your take on him? |

Figured it was something like that... Wasn't trying to attack, just being curious. Good luck with you application. Thank you. And someday you just might see me running for presidency. For which I will probably encounter the similar critizism that I am not seasoned enough to run the country cause I probably will not be a politican as the norm. |

don't take it hard.
I get accused of being a paid republican hack attack dog most days. and that comes from the moderates more than the extreme liberals. |

You do seem as though you like to think things through. |

Youth provides you with the option to dream about what should be, with age you have to deal with what is. The fact of the matter is. And this is all that counts, between the two who are you with. Once you decide, do what is positive to further them.
I am sorry to all but I have had it up to here with the noise. I spent countless hours in college debating the fact that we are actually being governed by multi-national corporations and I believe that we are to great extent. But, I also see that there are those that are deeper in the filth in others. |
