Both the Hindu Rigveda and The Buddhist Diamond Sutra were written and followed still today centuries before the Bible. Check them out.

There is only one god that is really the point, no one people have ownership of God even if the books they wrote say he said so.

There is only one god And who pray tell is that? yours? I already addressed this. To say that he is yours alone, you and your religious tribe is to say God can be owned or possessed. do you honesty believe that?

I think they're saying that there is only 1 God, and only 1 way to that God (heaven) which is thru Jesus Christ. Not saying I agree with this... it's just what I think they're getting at.

When I read that statement I can pretty much assume this is the line of reaction to this post. "What there are texts that I have never nor will ever read that where written before the Bible? . . well they have to be wrong . . . not written by god . . . and heathen crap . . . ."

There is only one god Are you attempting to imply here sir that NO other people throughout the world have a Creation Mythology? It is not limited to the Christian bible. That is merely the Christian version of events. Show me the evidence to substantiate the claim that the bible is in some respect more credible or valid than that of ANY other Creation Mythology found the world over. If you want to know the truth, its one of the more ridiculous ones. Virgin births...pfft.

If there really is only 1 God, and 1 way to him... then I have chosen the wrong path by accepting people and respecting their ways rather than bash them and tell them they're wrong. If believed in hell, surely I would rot in it
