All I have to say is that Fable 2 better not disappoint me like Fable did. I liked the game, but I had such high hopes for it.

Oh, it won't, brother. Just watch the gameplay vids. And remember that when Fable 1 came out, Lionhead did not have the confidence in it to show us hardly any such vids. With Fable 2, there's been a hundred of them.

Now look what you guys made me do. I bought Fable 2. I am only around 1-2 hours into it, but I am enjoying being deliciously evil.. mwa ha ha. I think the narrator should be slightly more understanding and a little less naggy about it.

BTW I really like the whole dog thing. Its pretty cool. I enjoy just randomly playing fetch lol.

Best...game...ever.

The best thing about it is the randomness of battle. Fighting now has such a cinematic aspect to it that I've never seen in any video game.

I mean to get it by the end of the year. Coop is enticing, but I haven't had the chance to play it. My roommate owns the game, but I suspect he doesn't think highly of my propensity for killing things and wouldn't want me running amuck in his game world.

Oh no, my 360 just crashed. It makes weird clanking noises when I start it up now. I think Fable 2 is killing my 360.

Haven't played it yet, but I have read customer reviews on it and the word is not good.

All of the Fable 2 forums I've been on are filled with people giving it predominantly good reviews.

Those that give it bad reviews are the prerequisite player that just expects too much...

Oh wah...why couldn't I plant that acorn and come back 30 years later and have it grow into a tree...What? I understand that the developers promised that to be in the first game, but they obviously realized what a useless waste of memory that would be.

Honestly. Some people just cannot be pleased. Fortunately for every single gamer that will whine when something trivial is left out of the game just because it was slated at some point to be in there and got scrapped, for every gamer that expects the damn game to be perfect with nary a flaw, there are a hundred who look at the game for what it is and appreciate it in spite of its (relatively few) shortcomings.

Is Fable 2 perfect? By no means. Is any game perfect, in spite of the occasional 10/10 review in your favorite gaming magazine? Absolutely not. But Fable 2 is very well done, and compared to my other games, it is as a diamond among lesser gems.

In the meantime, play the game for yourself. The only customer review that is really important to you is your own.

Saw some on Gamestops website. Been to some other forums and some people were just not happy with the game. Honestly, I still think that the original FABLE, which had so much hype going for it and so much anticipation, just never delivered to alot of gamers. FABLE 2 seems to be stuck with this curse. I will play it for myself. I just wanted to hear what some of you were saying about the game.
