What was going on last night? Me too 3 hours got to get off to work now just want to go to bed.

Good morning, friends. Just getting off working a double shift. The old folks had a great time giving out candy to the neighborhood and most of the aides brought in their kids to get candy. One of our nurses dressed like a playboy bunny. One of the residents still wants us to take down the bats hanging from the ceiling. I told her that they weren't mine bats to take down. Hopefully, someone will take the bats, today.

sounds like everyone had a fun time....we had a costume contest with some of the workers, nurses and residents participating. Lots of really cute costumes too. The party went well complete with apple bobbing, a Halloween cake and a Freaky Green Punch.

Sounds like a great time. I guess i was a scrooge last night. i didn't buy candy so i didn't turn my light on for trick or treaters. new neighborhood, swamped with kids and living alone i guess made me want to avoid it.

Oh, it was fun. We got to dress up one of our male residents in a dress. I was amazed by how men came dressed as women to the nursing home. I think we have some serious cross dressers that came with their kids. It was a blast. We were laughing because some of residents chose to eat the candy they were supposed to give to kids. The kids wore the old folks out because we didn't have any trouble getting into beds after the festivities were over. It is about the favorite holiday we have at the nursing home. The old folks love all the attention from the kids coming to see them. It was a night to remember.

Good Morning everyone, thanks for the coffee grey. Tasted great. I'm glad everyone had a great time last night. No kids come here so I just sat and watched spookie movies last night.

I didn't do much either. Our town decided to change trick or treating form Friday to Thursday because of the football games that are played on Friday night. We have some of the dumbest people running our city. Thye think football is more important that kids having fun on the day intended. I did not have any kids anyway so I guess it is all good. I am going to try my best o have a good thanksgiving and Christmas

Hello don, as long as you are with friends and those who do have family, the holidays will be good. If everyone will just remember you are never truly alone. There is always someone there for you. Like the very wonderful people on here. Have a nice day. Gonna be beautiful here.

The other holidays will be better. I have family that will be here or close enought to visit. I am going to concentrate on my kids and grand kids. As long as they have a good holiday seasn then everythig will be fine. I have never been o big on Christmas but I do want my kids to enjoy themselves. I think that as long as you have pleny of food and family to enjoy it with then everything is good.
