I hardly think you saw Pink Floyd in 1997 as they last toured in 1994. And the show I attended during that tour(Arrowhead Stadium, June 20, 1994) was anything but disappointing. There were a few weak moments, here and there, but nothing that you wouldn't expect out of any other live event. Maybe you saw them early on during the tour. I know by the time they taped the Earls Court performances, they were pretty tight.

Back to the point, however. My favorite song is "Echoes".

BTW, did anyone else pick up Gilmour's "Live in Gdnask" CD/DVD set(s) this past week? I've been enjoying them the last few days and they certainly serve as a fitting tribute to Rick Wright.

What`s not to like....ALL Pink Floyd tunes are great. It just depends on the mood you are in as to what is your favorite at the time.

They were excellent in concert everytime I saw them.

Such a tough call, but I'll go with "Wish You Were Here" for the purposes of this topic.

Picking 1 favorite song is much too difficult, so I will list 5 (although they have many awesome tunes).
1. Time
2. Comfortably Numb (Gilmour won best guitar solo for this one).
3. Have a cigar (the guitar solo for this one is awesome).
4. Us and them.
5. Shine on you crazy diamond, parts 1-8.

This like picking favorite ice cream. Can't do it either. Taking the list option.

1, Learning to Fly
2, One Slip
3, Great Gig in the Sky
4, Shine On
5, Have a Cigar
