Oh brilliant JustAGuy... Why does everyone's voice sound better in the car or the shower than when they are singing for anyone else (especially in karaoke bars?) Ahhhh...this one is right up my alley. What happens to me is when I am in my car, the music is turned WAY up, therefore, I can't actually hear myself all that well. In the shower, same thing. At a karaoke joint, the person has a microphone in his/her hand, their voice is amplified, and they wind up being able to hear their own voice. That throws them off. Just a little example of what I am talking about... Have you ever heard yourself on tape or on video and thought to yourself " man....that what I actually sound like?? " Point taken! Guess I'll just stick to singing in the car :) Why?? It never stopped me. If you frequent the same place quite often, you'll get used to the way the sound is there and you'll adjust to it. Plus, any karaoke host worth their salt will make adjustments to help you sound better. |

Why?? It never stopped me. If you frequent the same place quite often, you'll get used to the way the sound is there and you'll adjust to it. Plus, any karaoke host worth their salt will make adjustments to help you sound better. Because I'm a caring and compassionate person and don't want people to have to poke out their eardrums with hot sticks??? |

Why can't men change a roll of toilet paper? OH! OH! A critically important subquestion...(just in case a man does change the roll, but this applies to females too...) Should the paper hang over the top of the roll or behind it upon PROPER installation??? UNDER!!!! Then why, oh great one...do the toilet paper companies put the patterned TP on the roll in such a fashion that the lovely design is hidden when it goes under? I'm so confused! They do that to irritate the people who always put it under. They know damn well that the person who puts it under when they put on a new roll, lives with someone who'll put it over because of the " pretty designs ". lol |
