Actually, with regret I am sorry to tell you that Senator Obama is going to make a huge mistake here in just a little while...

Underestimating Senator McCain is never a smart thing to do.

Underestimating the intelligence of the American public is far worse.

He is about to do both.

I think he's underestimating some of the ignorance of the people and the sheeples.

no kidding....

he has lost his edge with voters, huh?

That explains his landslide election results in November, huh?

nobama doesn't get it.

never did.

He has to learn that we are not here for hs own self gratification, but to govern oursselves with a representative government.

this is not a soapbox for celebrity, despite nobama's best efforts to characterize this election on his terms.

It's difficult for intelligent people to be able to understand or relate to ignorance and/or sheeple thinking.

http://www.census.gov/population/www/socdemo/voting/cps2006.html

see table 7. open it with excel.

it shows how voters lean in terms of actually voting by distinction.

very interesting stats from the census bureau.

65% OF THE COUNTRY IS REGISTERD AND LESS THAN HALF ACTUALLY VOTED IN 2006.

the most noticeable spread is between the unemployed which vote by least percentage among those registered to vote, and the government employed workers which vote with the most intensity of all voters.

This is extremely alarming.

voting appears to be a lobbying effort and the enthusiasm for bigger government is evident in the high percentage of government workers that vote.

enjoy..............my fellow sheeple.

Not sure who will win. Probably Obama... Doesn't really matter anyway. The more you do your homework the more you find that Obama and McCain are actually quite similar, and niether are actually discussing the "change we need".

Time to make a statement...

Save the republic, vote third party!

Obama of course, there is nothing else of any good being offered.

So why not vote for something good? A third party vote could bring attention awayfrom the two parties that will keep the country on the same course. Vote for someone that you think will actually make a difference. That will give him or her recognition for thenext time around. The president isn't chosen from the popular vote anyway...

Can you expand upon that? If you are thinking that McCain supporters are sheeple, you are correct, for the most part. Just like most of Obama's supporters. The irony is that both candidates are chosen by the same committee. The story was told by a member of this group, his name is Carroll Quigley, the author of "Tragety and Hope". Anyhow, the two candidates that people are fighting over are working for the same team my friends. So how the hell can one be so much better than the other if they have to have the same basic beliefs in order to be allowed to represent their party? (This committee consists of people, both democrats and republicans that agree on all the major issues we are dealing with.) Anyhow, you all go ahead, and vote for the same-old, same-old and see if anything will "change".

How bout...

Time to make a statement... Start empeaching congresmembers and senators...

Start with the worst ones right off the get... If your under investigation, have any criminal actions pending or past... Your gone right now.

Then start with the voting records... Ya got pork, asked for pork, put pork on a bill or lobbied for pork... Your gone next.

Oh wait... That would be all of them.

Wouldn't that be awsome? If all members of government were held accountable for all of their illegal actions. What i don't understand is when a senator is even convicted of a crime, they still get that fancy paycheck and benefits package. When a soldier, on the other hand get convicted of a felony, he or she loses all veteran's benefits. Kinda back asswards huh? Another thing that's pissing me off is little by little the judicial branch is losing it's power to the executive branch... Consolidation of power is the first step to corruption.

What's sad is the presidential candidates are chosen, and eventually voted into office by congress... Downright depressing huh? And everybody is getting so wrapped up in presidents...

BTW not all congressmen are crooked. Dr Paul is pretty reluctant to accept funding from anybody. And from what i hear has an outstanding voting record. Honestly, if we could get him in the White House, corruption would stop pretty soon, as most of what he does exposes corruption.
