I am 37, and I have an amazing 26 year old wanting to date me...I just have trouble with the age difference. She tells me, "Age is just a number!" Is it really? She has not experienced the things I have.....But my gosh she is hott.... If you think she's pretty, go for it. If it doesn't work out, at least you got to see her pretty face up close, lol  If you dig her and she's somewhat mature go for it ,just realize she will need to grow. |

I know you worry about starting something serious because of your daughter, but remember it IS just a date for the first time you meet her. If you can talk about the same things and are on the same page with how you see your life going. Continue. If not, Say thanks for the nice evening, and good luck in your life. End of story. I know this sounds harsh, but at least its the truth.
OH, and my ex is 5 years older than me. And I dated for 6 months a nice guy that was 13 years younger. He was the one that couldnt handle the age differences in the end. I would pick anyone that can keep up with my life style. Regardless of age. but is at least older than my son. now that might be oookie. |

It's not even unusual until you hit 15+ yrs age difference. 16 or more is naughty - socially questionable. 25+ is definitely inappropriate! 30+ is noteworthy!! but hey, there are no rules. so it is as good for you both as you make it yourselves. so make it great, live long, and prosper!! they are in fact only numbers. what counts is your relationship. |
